This is my grid drawing. This was done by placing a grid over a black and white photo and recreating it on a bigger scale. We used shading pencils for our medium. I liked doing this assignment because I liked the photo and I do better when I have something to reference to. Shading is not one of my strong points so that was one of the biggest issues. The thing I wished I would have done better was blending in the shading into the actual paper so it looked a little more natural. I also thought the mouth and fingers were difficult. But I did really enjoy this assignment.
